About
Eleni is an Ithaca, New York native, passionate Sommelier and wine educator with 7 years of experience in the wine industry, beginning with her undergraduate education at Cornell University.
From time spent in the vineyards and wine cellars of Marlborough, New Zealand, to the limestone hillsides of Rheinhessen, Germany, Eleni loves traveling and discovering all aspects of what goes into creating beautiful wines.
Since moving to Charleston, South Carolina in 2021, Eleni has curated wine lists, managed beverage programs, hosted too many wine tastings to count and engaged with wine lovers in fine dining restaurants.
She looks forward to curating your wine education experience!
“As someone who loves to travel, the best part about a wine tasting with Eleni is that she has extensive knowledge about the geography, sights, and climate of the area of origin of each wine, as well as the effect each has on the wine itself. Eleni’s descriptions paint a picture of the vineyards and winery, and by sharing her experiences of her visits to the region, she personalizes the entire tasting.”
